CAS(E) this Sketch #58 entry: Celebrate Everyday

I'd been meaning to try out card sketches from paper crafting challenge blogs since I revived my cardmaking hobby last year, but it's only now that I finally found the time (and plucked up the courage) to do one. Since I have always been a fan of clean and simple designs, I decided to join the CAS(E) this Sketch #58 challenge. The event ends tomorrow in PHL time!

... and here is my official entry: a two-layer card that says "Celebrate Everyday." It took me only about half an hour to make this one. First, I picked a pre-folded* 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 white card, and then laid out strips of patterned paper on top and at the bottom. Next, I stamped the sentiment in dye ink. Then, I adhered the blue flower using foam tape.

Supplies:
Tools: Cricut paper trimmer, acrylic block

* I like to make and prepare folded cards when I'm not actually designing or creating craft projects. This saves me plenty of time.

In case you want to join this challenge, too, here is the sketch and the link to the blog post:
